• The camshaft actuator must be removed from the camshaft during maintenance of the timing chain or camshaft. When the actuator is disassembled or reinstalled, the relationship between the camshaft and the timing chain needs to be maintained. EN-51367 is installed on two camshafts, and the assembled hexagon is fixed on the two cams to maintain their relationship during maintenance of the timing chain, actuator, camshaft or valve. Once the engine places a one-cylinder engine on the TDC (compression stroke), EN-51367 is installed on the two camshafts to fix them and prevent the chain from jumping when the actuator bolts are removed or installed. It also allows the timing chain to be replaced and the cam is re-established in the correct position after the camshaft or valve is repaired.
